On Nov. 17, the 2022 China Digital Education Summit Forum, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the People's Government of Hebei Province, and organized by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Big Data Industry Association, was held online.

The theme of the forum is implementing digital development strategy and building a high-quality education system. Combining macro policies and industry changes, the forum shares educational ideas, summarizes educational achievements, issues research reports, forecasts future trends, promotes effective innovation in the education industry, and conducts discussions and exchanges on the development of smart education.

Li Weihong, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and Liu Jiaomin, former Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Education Department of Hebei Province, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Wu Chaohui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and president of Zhejiang University, Lv Yugang, director of the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, Ma Luting, vice president of the National Institute of Education Sciences, Han Xu, secretary of the Party committee of Hebei University of Technology, and others attended the forum.

At the forum, experts from the Academy of Educational Sciences of Hebei Education Department released the research report on the development path of new education infrastructure in the post epidemic era to help build a high-quality education system.
